Installation at California Iota
A local group, Gamma Nu, was formed in 1984. The group officially became a chapter of Pi Beta Phi on September 5, 1986. The Initiation Ceremony took place at First Christian Church in Chico. The installation banquet was held at Butte Creek Country Club, with many Pi Phi alumnae and parents in attendance.
The chapter’s charter was relinquished in 2005.
