Installation of California Lambda
The chapter was installed on November 5, 1988. The weekend’s events began with a Cookie Shine, where the room was filled with balloon bouquets and sparkling stars hanging from the ceiling. The Initiation Ceremony took place at the Calvary Presbyterian Church. The installation banquet was held at the Riverside Sheraton. People made speeches about what Pi Beta Phi meant to them and how exciting this was for the community and University.
Living at California Lambda
At California Lambda there isn’t a facility. However, the fraternity and sorority community gets together every Wednesday; it's a time where everyone talks, collaborates and shares philanthropic goals while sporting their chapter's letters. While there is no facility, there is a storage unit. One of the chapter’s favorite items in the storage unit is a collection of all of the composites since the founding class.
