Installation at Colorado Delta

The chapter was installed on February 1, 1986. Initiation took place at the Calvary Episcopal Church in Golden, Colorado. The installation reception was held at the Green Center on campus. The centerpieces were wine and blue flower arrangements with wine and blue angels. Small silver angels on ribbons, silver bud vases and Pi Phi buttons were placed at each table setting. Special guest speakers included Dr. Barbara Blake Bath, Kansas Alpha, a University professor.

Living at Colorado Delta

Pi Beta Phi is one of four sororities that belong to Colorado School of Mines Panhellenic Council. The chapter consists of 84 women with 21 girls living in the beautiful home during the year. We were established at Mines in 1986 and in 2004 Colorado Delta opened a brand-new Pi Phi home. The house is special because it is owned by the school and the CHC then provides the chapter with any indoor needs.

Within Greek Row at Mines, the Pi Phi house welcomes home her angels after long days in classes and at the lab, mentoring in the local community, and competing in sports.  Pi Phi's love calling this beautiful house their home away from home.

The main level has the common rooms, including the kitchen, dining room, living room, chapter room and study room. CHC is currently working with the school to do some exciting renovations this summer.
