Arrowspike
Installation at Louisiana Alpha
Louisiana Alpha at Sophie Newcomb Memorial College was installed on October 29, 1891, with seven charter members, Josephine Craig Wickes, Anna P. Coyle, Isabella B. Coleman Weise, Alice Boardman Baldridge, Lottie Fairfax Galleher Blacklock, Elizabeth Henderson Labrot and Mary Given Matthews Mcllhenny. Mary L. Burton Wright, Indiana Alpha, was instrumental in the founding of the chapter. For many decades, it was the only Pi Phi chapter in the south.
Living at Louisiana Alpha
The Louisiana Alpha Chapter house is the original home that has been on campus since the establishment in 1891. Several renovations have taken place since then but still the original foundation is here today.

Philanthropic Service
Arrowspike is an annual volleyball tournament occurring in the fall of every year. Teams are made up of all members of the student body at Tulane across academic and Greek life. At a recent Arrowspike the chapter raised $2,000!
