Installation at Manitoba Alpha
A local group, Delta Phi, was formed in 1925. The group officially became a chapter of Pi Beta Phi on October 5, 1929. The installation banquet featured a large gold arrow lighted with alternate blue and red lights directly behind the table, which was centered with streamers of wine and blue. Each place was set with a souvenir menu tied with the colors, and bearing on its cover a silhouette symbolic of the college girl in the armor of Fraternity, holding high the torch of progress. The chapter’s charter was relinquished in 1976.
