Installation of New Jersey Alpha
The chapter was installed on March 31, 1990. The Initiation Ceremony took place at the home of Pennsylvania Epsilon Donna Tartaglia Boye (Collins). The installation banquet was held at the Princeton Ramada Inn. The room was decorated in Pi Phi colors, with each table featuring mirrored tile and votive candles. A wine-colored bag with a silver blue angel on one side filled with tissue paper held wine carnations and one wine and one blue balloon. The new initiates were surprised with a slideshow of pictures from their New Member period.
Living at New Jersey Alpha
At Princeton University, the fraternity and sorority communities do not live in houses, but that doesn’t impact the sisterhood New Jersey Alpha shares! Weekly chapter meetings are held on or around campus. New Jersey Alpha occupies a storage unit which is maintained and operated by Pi Beta Phi Headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri, and the Fraternity Housing Corporation (FHC).
