The banquet room was decorated with wine carnations, blue delphinium and smilax, with tall silver and blue tapers. At the speakers table was a large carnation plant, and throughout the evening toasts were given that compared its soil, roots, leaves and flowers to the Founders, the Fraternity, the chapter and the individual members.
