Installation at Texas Gamma
A local group, the Ko Shari Club, was formed in 1932. The group officially became a chapter of Pi Beta Phi on April 23, 1953. The Initiation Ceremony took place at St. John’s Methodist Church across the street from campus. The installation banquet was held at the Skyline Dining Room with the theme of “The Pi Phi Arrow Points to a New Star in Texas.” The room’s ceiling was covered in mobile stars of various sizes.
