The History of the Conejo Valley, California, Alumnae Club
The small but mighty chapter was founded in 1997. Many of the club’s founding members are the same proud members today. The Conejo Valley, California, Alumnae Club's members enjoy spending time with each other and serving the community.
Philanthropic Service
The major philanthropic events of the Conejo Valley, California, Alumnae Club include Champions Are Readers® (CAR) with Berylwood Elementary in Simi Valley. The club brought this program to the school for five years for their third grade. It is a Title 1 school, where one of the club’s Pi Phi sisters teaches third grade. From 2015–2017, club members have volunteered there, which has included reading to students, helping in the library, covering books for the library and working the book fair.
