The History of the Highland Lakes, Texas, Alumnae Club
The Highland Lakes, Texas, Alumnae Club was chartered in 2005 with 20 women from the smaller communities in the Texas Hill Country. The area in which members live includes Marble Falls, Llano, Spicewood, Granite Shoals, Luling, Bee Caves, Burnet, Buchanan Dam, Kingsland and Horseshoe Bay. The club serves primarily as a resort and retirement community, and meets monthly for lunch and fellowship. The club participated in a local Panhellenic Luncheon in 2016.
